Information collection and use

Eyesea Green Limited is committed to the upholding of the rights and freedoms of individuals in accordance with the privacy laws as set out by the General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR”) and Data Protection Act 2018 (UK).

This Privacy Policy sets out everything you need to know about the way in which we collect, use and share personal data.

The personal information we process

Contact details: information that allows us to contact you directly such as your name, business email business telephone number and business address associated with your account or order, as well as the position of the person within the business customer.

Account information: business email address which will be used as the username, name, and password. The security transaction, storage and account handling will be done by a third-party called Memberstack, but Eyesea Green will have access to the business email address and name of the business customer.

Transaction information: records of the products and services you purchase from us: name of the customer, person responsible (business email address, name, business phone number, position in company), address of delivery (business premises), billing address, description of items.

Delivery information: information relating to the delivery of our products to you at your business premises.Installation and service history: Customers will install their own devices. However, if you order a large number of devices, we can send an engineer to help with the installation.

Device information:

• Device name, sub-group name and group name Whether the device is connected to another device or not.

• IP address of the device

• BSSID of the router BSSID.

• Sensor information: movement by any non-metallic substance, temperature, humidity, light intensity, CO2, electrical characteristics (power, voltage)

Location data:

• IP address of the products

• IP address of the browser the customers uses to log into the platform

Communication records: records of email exchanges with info@eyeseagreen.com and hello@eyeseagreen.com, opt-in for direct marketing via email.

Information from the platform: time and duration of active sessions, records of changes made to their account, browser type, IP location.

What we use the personal information for

We process the personal data based on the business customer agreement you have with us.

Account information: provide services, installation and delivery, answering queries and complaints

Transaction information: take payment for products and services

Delivery information: installation and delivery

Installation and service history: installation and delivery

Device information: provide services, installation, answering queries and complaints, data analytics, developing new products

Location data: provide services, developing new products, data analytics

Communication records: answering queries and complaints, staff training

Sources we collect your personal information from

We collect information directly from the customer, as well as from the products they purchase as part of their customer agreement and the way in which they interact with our website and platform.

Who we share your personal information with

Delivery companies: company name, company address, and telephone of contact person, as well as the insured value of the items.

Installers (building maintenance professionals): company name, company address, and telephone of contact person, number of devices purchased.

The Government or our regulators as and when applicable

Police and law enforcement

Third parties: We do not share personal data with third parties.

Direct marketing

Eyesea Green may decide to perform direct marketing. When this is the case, each customer will be given the opportunity to opt-in to such communications. Customers have the possibility at any time to opt-out via the same means used to give consent.

Cookies

For our website and platform, we use a third-party host called Webflow. Webflow does not impose any cookies on the websites that they are hosting. We also use a third-party for the account creation and management, but they use local storage rather than cookies.

We may collect necessary, functionality and analytical cookies via Google Analytics for the purpose of improving the services provided to you.

Necessary cookies allow us to offer you an optimal experience when accessing and navigating our website and platform.

Functional cookies let us operate the website in accordance with the choices that you make in order to customise the website for your future visits, such as recognising your username.

Analytical cookies enable us to collect aggregated data for statistical purposes on how our visitors use the website and help us improve the user experience.

We will always ask for your consent when collecting cookies.

To whom we may transfer your personal information

We do not and will not transfer your personal information to any organisation without your explicit consent. We may share reports consisting of aggregated and anonymised information with third parties who deal with the instalment, manufacture and handling of equipment that deals with energy and heat.

Retention period of your personal information

We will keep the data in relation to your account as long as there is an active customer contract or for as long as the customer is using our service platform. After expiry of such contract and closure of the respective account, we will keep the information only for a reasonable period that will allow us to keep our legal obligations towards the customers and as required by a court of law.

Rights in relation to personal information

There are several rights that can be exercised in relation to personal information:

• Right to be informed about how the data is held and processes

• Right to access the data held (which we can satisfy by providing a copy)

• Right to rectify any inaccurate data or update incomplete information

• Right to delete personal information if the purpose for which it was initially requested may be no longer valid, consent is withdrawn, or the processing may be unlawful. Please note that we cannot delete the personal information if there is a valid customer contract in place by which we are providing a products and/or services.

• Right to restrict the way in which we process data if it is inaccurate, no longer needed or processed in an unlawful manner.

• Right to object to the processing of data, by stating your reasons. Please note that we can still process data if it is needed for legal reasons such as for litigation purposes, or there are other compelling grounds for doing so.

Changes to this notice

Eyesea Green reserves the right to make changes to this Policy from time to time. If there is a significant change to this Policy, we will use our best endeavours to send a notification via email.
